History of the Collar and What it Means in The Kingdom of Hearts Brief History of Collars: Throughout history collars have usually meant some sort of slavery or ownership. It bonded the two together and identified the person wearing the collar as being owned by the other or belonging to the other. Today wedding rirngs are exchanged as a vow to the other, but in times past from the Egyptians on it meant that one is owned by the other as a slave. This was very common during the time of the Roman Empire and was very common in England. The history of the collar goes far back. We in the kingdom of hearts also wear a collar, but it is not required. Our collar is not a collar of sorrow or grief, but one of love and respect and equality. It tells us and others what we represent when they see our collars. We each who wear them as a House collar means we are owned and motivated not by the house or anyone but love.
Everything here is designed with you in mind for your benifet, because we have learned the more we love others, the more we are loved. It's the same with all things in life. Variety of Hearts and Collars: In the Kingdom of Hearts there are three levels of collars. The first is when a woman comes in. Its a trial and agreement what we will do for her. The second level means that we both have lived to the first level of commitment and now the girl starts to help others giving out to others the love she has recived. This second level is also temporary. Both levels are negotiable depending on the needs and desires of both parties. The third and final level is a permanent. This is the highest level of commitment one can have to the house and the collar. This is where a women is truly free and equal to move in love and be loved as permanent family. Each women if possible will have a small cerimony while recieving thier collar. Part of that cerimony is to wash the girls feet that are being collared. This is to show that the Mistress is there to serve, teach and lead the girls being collared. |
